One of our ministry partners has established connections within three of the prisons in Kenya. We have been working on multiple phases of rain water harvesting projects to provide water for use by the prisoners and staff, as well as making gardening to grow fresh vegetables possible. Many audio Bibles continue to be distributed to inmates from various areas of Kenya, as well as from other countries, who are incarcerated.
Today we visited the prison in Isiolo to check on new water storage tanks that have been installed in both the men’s and women’s prisons. We also spent time talking to and encouraging the guards as well as praying with some of the inmates.
